In the past 15 years, I've been helping organizations craft and share authentic stories that truly connect with their communities. The work flows through digital spaces like social media, newsletters, and blog posts.
Some of my proudest accomplishments: co-designing a educational initiatives connecting teachers and librarians with nonpartisan news coverage; helping a newsroom expanding their reach in untapped communities through creative community engagement initiatives and launching a global mentoring program during COVID.
I co-chair NAHJ's LGBTQI+ TaskForce (2025-2026), have served on the Long Beach Creative Group board, and led women's health campaigns with Girl Up—even ran a marathon for them! At Rough Writers Toastmasters, my communication work as VPPR earned the club District One's award for best online presence. I also love starting book clubs and practicing capoeira here in Miami.
I'm passionate about partnering with organizations focused on gender equality, reproductive rights and climate change to amplify their impact and build stronger community connections.

My career bridges newsrooms across the Americas. In the U.S., I worked in community engagement at CalMatters and as a newsletter producer at a tech news startup. In Brazil, I reported on the high-profile feminicide case of Eliza Samudio and the country’s New Environmental Code. At O Globo, I was a columnist for Nas Redes and helped shape digital strategy for social platforms. My investigation on oversharenting was selected for ENEM, Brazil’s national university entrance exam.
I co-designed CalMatters for Learning with teachers and librarians to bring nonpartisan news into classrooms and libraries, managing events, creating educational toolkits, conducting media literacy workshops, supporting service journalism initiatives, performing social listening, and advancing DEI initiatives. I also founded Become Odara, launching a global mentoring program supporting at-risk students during COVID and a campaign for women's healthcare.
With dual MBAs in Business (SSU) and Social Media & Digital Communication (UNA, Brazil), I turn digital presence into measurable impact. At Hive, I supported SEO and link-building, growing engagement from baseline to double and profile clicks 32x—above industry benchmarks—despite budget limits. At GBx Global, during COVID my live-tweeting idea for virtual conferences tripled x (Twitter) growth. At SVIP, my work helped bring interns from 32 countries.
